Director's Bio:
Emma Keehan is a current senior at UW-Milwaukee in the Peck School of the Arts studying film. She is an aspiring director and producer and so far has had experience in both fields. She has produced multiple films under the title of Producer and Officer in UWM’s Production Club, awarding her the opportunity to work with professional-grade equipment as well as working with local professionals. Emma’s passion for film started at a young age when she was being recorded by her parents and asked to see the videos, and from then on it only grew. Her deciding point came when simultaneously she started the sport of fencing and Pirates of the Caribbean came out, exposing her to the opportunities film could give in many skill sets. From then on, she has choreographed sword fights for films and taken an interest in period pieces, especially those containing medieval weaponry. In the future, Emma hopes to direct her own adaptations of books and novels as well as direct and produce her own written work.
