Evan Atwood graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor's Degree in Film & Video. He has won multiple awards for his short film "Forgiven," and has written eight feature-length screenplays. For the last five years, Atwood has worked as a photojournalist, honing his technical skills with the camera and the digital razor blade. Director's Statement:
"The Neighbor" is a reflection on simple, neighborly love. To me, it has become a demonstration of how valuable our interactions as fellow human beings are. We do not always see the value in the little things, but these so called 'little things' are what make up the majority of our time. This film slows my mind down to help me focus on my heart, and I hope it will do the same for you.
