Specializing in creating universal, female-driven stories that connect on an emotional level, writer/director Melody Herr grew up 3 blocks north of the Detroit border. Drawing from that and her years of living and traveling abroad, she explores serious themes, often cloaked with levity. An award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer, Herr lives in Milwaukee and is a founding member of the Milwaukee Filmmakers Association.
