Three women go in for an interview. Is it for a job? A bank loan? Only one thing is for sure... This interview will change their lives.
Stephanie Kalogriopoulos is a New York City-based screenwriter and filmmaker originally from Milwaukee, WI. After studying English Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she eventually went on to receive a graduate certificate in screenwriting from the University of California-Los Angeles. Most recently, Stephanie earned her MFA in playwriting from the Actors Studio Drama School. She has previously worked with the Milwaukee Film Festival, as well as various production companies in film development and story editing
With Dicktation being the first film that I both wrote and directed, I wanted to tell an important story with simple parameters. Five minutes (without credits), one room, and only a few actors. My cast/crew was small, but I made it a priority to incorporate as many women's voices in the collaboration as possible. It's a film about women, made by women, made for everyone.
