To commemorate their 38th founding anniversary, this short documentary tells the story of Pastor John W. McVicker, Sr., and his wife Marilynn from Milwaukee, WI. The documentary showcases their unwavering passion and dedication towards establishing one of the most prestigious Baptist Churches in the city of Milwaukee, the Christ the King Baptist Church.




Director Bio:

KMK Films is a full-service media and production company founded in 2016 by writer, producer, director, and actor, KayCee Kelsey. Kelsey was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, and earned two Bachelor Degrees in Broadcast Communications & Film Study from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Kelsey's portfolio ranges from feature films, series, commercials, music videos, and podcasts. As a filmmaker, KayCee is best known for her video content for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, one of the first and largest regional theaters in the country. KayCee has had the pleasure to also serve as an copywriter intern for Aurora Health Care of Milwaukee, where she wrote a plethora visual advertising. In 2022, Kelsey wrote, produced, edited, directed, and starred in her first scripted web series, Rise to Fall. Rise to Fall received 16.3K streaming views within its first month of release. 100% of the cast and crew from Rise to Fall are underrepresented artists and Milwaukee natives.
