La Cañada, Europe's largest slum on the outskirts of Madrid, has been without electricity for over a year. In the firelight, Toni, a 13 year-old boy, discovers that his best friend Nasser is leaving forever. Amongst Roma legends of a possible future, Toni looks for a way to stay connected to him.

Director Bio:

Guillermo García López is a filmmaker born in Madrid. His 1st film, Frágil Equilibrio, won the Goya for Best Documentary Feature after its premiere at IDFA. 

He was selected at the Cinéfondation Residency in Paris to write his 1st fiction feature, Ciudad Sin Sueño. In 2020, Guillermo received the prestigious Princess of Girona Award for Arts and Literature.
