This is what you get when you add inquisitive film directors with adequate funding to make a documentary in a historical Milwaukee neighborhood.



Directors Bio:

Pryscilla Balladares is an Ecuadorian-American writer and multimedia artist from the Midwest. Her work explores womanhood, identity, and self-discovery through play writing, prose poetry, and collage. She is a founding member of Heard Space and has been creating and directing original work since 2018. Her recent pieces blend visual art and poetry to reflect personal evolution and social commentary.

Dana Watson is a WAMI-nominated artist known for her vibrant creativity and contagious laughter. Based in Milwaukee, she has been a member of Heard Space since 2018, where she explores black box theater and integrated arts.

As Ms. Lotus Fankh, she captivates audiences through her unique performances that celebrate the themes of rebirth and life, blending funk with artistic expression. Dana is also the author of "The Little Red ‘Blank’" and "Lost in Home."

Selena McKnight has been performing arts in dance, music and theater in the city of Milwaukee for many years. She has performed with Ko Thi Dance Company, Afro Latin Project, Keep the Faith Productions and Rebirth Ink Productions. She also has been a teaching artist for Black Arts MKE since 2018.
