Director's Bio:

With his third and darkest short film to date - Last Resort behind him, Wisconsin filmmaker Klifford Barkus shifts back to his comedy roots for his fourth short film, The Survivor's Guide of a Newspaper Carrier. This eight minute short tells the story of a newspaper carrier trying to survive his Sunday morning delivery route, while working behind schedule.

The Philly-born/South Jersey raised native discovered his film passion after relocating to Wisconsin. Two years and handful of projects later, Kliff is starting to make a name for himself in the local indie circuit.

Kliff hopes to someday expand his film horizon in indie feature projects, both in front of and behind the camera.

Director's Statement:

Filming this project was very fun while tricky at the same time to do. A lot of planning ahead, one-takes and sometimes shear luck were involved. This film is loosely based off actual experiences. Some scenes were coincided with direct work.

The best way I can describe this film/experience is having a passion for something but you can't quit your day-job just yet. The next best case is to combine both scenarios and make the best of it!!!!!

Keep pushing forward,
~Kliff
