Directors Bio:

Ericka Boston fell in love with storytelling as a child, writing short stories and documenting family gatherings with her grandparents’ video camera. She worked as a magazine editor for more than a decade before becoming a filmmaker.

Director Statement

While drifting off to sleep one night, I had a vision of a husband and wife. They went about their day, moving through their home like the hands on a clock. For me it was the perfect visual metaphor. “Do I Do” explores this dance that often goes unnoticed and that couples perform daily, as individuals with their own distinct paths and purposes and where every action, conscious and unconscious, takes them closer to or farther away from each other. Because, ultimately, love is more than a feeling. It's a verb.
